This is a fantastic introduction to the delicious food of Amman. We started at the citadel and Roman theater for some history and to work up an appetite then dived right in for the food. I’m glad it was a walking tour otherwise I would’ve had to be rolled back to my hotel, everything was delicious. We explored so many local places and markets and tried so many good deserts like Knafeh and ice cream. Jumana is a fantastic and I had so much fun hanging out with her. Definitely a must do for Amman!Posted on Google Lesley DixsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The most amazing food tour in Amman! Our tour guide Jumana was phenomenal - not only did we discover Amman’s best dishes and experience the local food and markets, but we learned about the history of the city and the Jordanian culture. Everyone was warm and welcoming, the food was all delicious, and Jumana was a treasure. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amman.Posted on Google Karl WTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are Americans and Jordan is a very, very safe place to travel. If you are worried about safety, do not be worried, it is very safe. My wife and I had an excellent experience with our guide Jumana. We ate many Jordanian dishes toured markets, had the national dish of Jordan and had desserts. We started with za'atar Manakish and continued to a falafel stand. We also went to the sugar market where we were showing all the fruits and vegetables and we ate some nuts, multiple olives and some dates. We saw the guy making some bread and slamming the bread against the inside of a tandoor oven to cook it. Then we went inside to have a couple of lamb dishes. We then had the national Jordanian dish of mansaf. We finished with a couple of desserts including the Jordanian ice cream. Jumana is an excellent guide. She kept the evening going, kept everybody engaged, told us other things about the sites we were seeing while recommending different restaurants along the way. Nobody could eat all of the food that we had. It was so much. This tour was noted as a 3-hour tour. Our tour actually lasted closer to 4 hours and it was interesting for every one of those 4 hours. I highly, highly recommend this tour.Posted on Google Rachel HarrisonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've just spent a fantastic evening with Jumana. The best way to get started in Jordan is with an Amman Food Tour. Jumana was an amazing guide: literally EVERYONE knows her as you walk through the market and along the streets. She answered all my questions about the food we were tasting and Jordan in general. This was my first visit to the Middle East and the food and culture was a tad intimidating. Thanks to Jumana's friendly introductions and contagious enthusiasm I was soon much more at ease and able to enjoy the rest of my trip all the more. A surprising amount of food is included, so much so that I didn't need breakfast the next day. Personal favourites were Zaatar Manaqish, the al Quds falafel sandwich and the Kofta in tahini sauce. I must also credit them with going ahead with the tour with only 1 person (me) as I have had bad experiences with other tours in other countries when this happens. This tour is worth every cent.Posted on Google mythoughtsforyouTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. OMG- If you are in Amman you MUST book this tour! We had so much fun and ventured into places we never would have seen. We felt like locals and warmly welcomed where ever we went by the friendly market owners and spice sellers. and can we talk about the food? Amazing! Not only did we love every bite, but we learned about its history and importance to Jordanians. Our time passed so quickly and it was sad to say good bye. Book this with no regrets!
